real party: outer space party

March 22, 2011

We think its pretty safe to say that Kate Martin throws fabulous kids’ parties.  You might remember she put together this picture-perfect winter skating party last year and we’re so happy she sent over these photos of a recent space themed party she threw for her 4-year-old son.

It is a-dor-able with lots of great handmade details.  Kate and her husband made these FANTASTIC planets out of paper lanterns which were wrapped with tissue paper – such a great idea!

Kate also made this great felt board with laminated space images and stars wrist bands for the kids.  We love that these creative, colorful and fun things added to the decor but also engaged the little guests!

Kate customized the favor and treat bags with space themed rubber stamps and felt decorations.

Such a fun party – thanks for sharing, Kate!  We can’t wait to see what you do for your next party! : )
